Welcome to Clarisse's realm. It's not work. It's not home. It's that comforting space between, where I gather my thoughts; and connect with fellow beings who treat each moment as a gift, and are grateful for life.
Meet me here for coffee, hot chocolate, a piña colada or a glass of wine.

Yeah, as in
Kill THE Bill.
I just finished paying some bills online and I don't know what hurts more -- my backpain or the electric bill. It's electrifying indeed, harharhar. Hubby and I are implementing energy-saving tips with the hope that everything will pay off in the long run: Those energy saving light bulbs he painstakingly installed, an energy-efficient washer and dryer (and we got a $200. rebate from PG&E for it last year!), an energy-efficient refrigerator. Window treatments are next in line in our long list of meaningful projects. I do want curtains for the bedrooms upstairs, our living area and the glass sliding door by the kitchen. I still can't find the right shade and fabric that I want (that's babble for "we don't really have enough home improvement funds right now").
I'm seriously considering getting Eco-Solar Shades from The Shade Store because aside from adding style to the home, it is also...*magic word*...energy-efficient. Eco-Solar Shades are environmentally friendly and conserve energy. They do so by absorbing heat and protecting interiors from harmful UV Rays. They also reduce glare so it's perfect for my headaches.
Other magic words that do me in: *100% recyclable* and *GreenGuard Certified*.
If you're reading this and you're getting more interested with my magic words, here' s another magic secret code I'd like to share with you (take note of it!):
