Welcome to Clarisse's realm. It's not work. It's not home. It's that comforting space between, where I gather my thoughts; and connect with fellow beings who treat each moment as a gift, and are grateful for life.
Meet me here for coffee, hot chocolate, a piña colada or a glass of wine.

I haven't posted anything about our new home lately. Just in case you're wondering, we're pretty much settled...no more moving boxes, 20,000 parties already held *LOL*, and the house looks and smells lived in, not necessarily stinking but lived in. The closets are still waiting for better shelves, the TV's mounted on the wall, the piano's happy in his little corner --slightly off-key and needing some tuning but that can wait. 300 bucks to tune? Ofcourse that can wait. I can live with my music for now, I'm partly tone-deaf anyway, and it's not really that bad.
We haven't painted the kitchen. I've given it so much hype in my past posts when we were in the process of moving. But the paint cans are still in the garage waiting to achieve self-actualization! Hahaha. And I'm still waiting to have my Tuscan-inspired kitchen. Some of my wrought-iron decor are up, the fat candles have already warmed and casted dramatic glows on many entertainment evenings, the new silverware earning their characters with little scratches here and there. But I still find myself waiting for "THE" items that will truly COMPLETE the picture: that perfect painting for the fireplace, that perfect wrought iron sun I want to hang on one empty wall, that perfect decor for my red kitchen wall (maybe a mural?) beautiful copper set of pots and pans to hang and matching copper chargers (I already know where to get them), a conversation piece Copper Sink (do a lot of people have Copper Sinks now? I want to be one of them), terra cotta tiles for the backyard. Anything modern with an old world twist. Anything rustic, anything beautiful, anything that calls to mind thoughts of rows and rows of olive trees, rolling hills, vineyards and good food.
I can't wait to see my kitchen dream fulfilled. It will be a work in progress for a long time. I have an idea where to get most of them, but I'm still scouting for the best --meaning, friendliest to the pocket too. For instance, the Copper Kitchen Sinks...I know where to get these Artisan copper sinks and I guess you already know where I'm heading. I like a place with products of the highest quality available, at wholesale prices, free shipping and just a click away. *wink*
I wish I can order my favorite eggplant parmigiana with that too.
